Executive Finance Position

The Position:

Our clients require a professional to control and manage the entire Financial and Administration System and function of the group.



R850,000 – R1.1M p/a TCTC





- Degree (Finance / Business) - CA qualification with be an advantage

- Minimum 10 years of experience

- Solid background in controlling and accounting - ideally experience in external audit

- Previous management experience required and an ability to demonstrate leadership skills

- Must have handled similar finance and administration functions

- Must understand all statutory reporting and compliance issues

- Budget preparation, monitoring, cost control

- Cash collection processes and procedures

- Experience in procurement will be an asset

- At least 8 years’ relevant experience

- Ability to communicate with staff on all levels

- Analytical skills in both abilities: attention to detail and accuracy

- Good report writing skills

- Good negotiation skills

- Developed analytical abilities

- Good risk analysis skills (contractual and financial)


Job Description

- Guarantee functional governance and regulatory compliance

- Ensure cost control

- Ensure tax payment

- Implementation of KPI’s to track and improve global business performance

- Guarantee tight management and control of cash collection

- Enforce and control the procurement process

- Responsibility for relationship with the external auditors

- Cash tracking outstanding debtors

- Drive the budget preparation, check compliance and report deviations in respect of the Budget and Business Plan

- Preparation and presentation of summary reports for general management and financial department of the shareholders companies

- Ensure compliance to the Financial Procedures Manual

- Manage the Financial and statutory reporting

- Manage the Financial system (Sage ERP X3)

- Manage finance and administration team

- Analysis of contract documents (specifications, contracts)

- Guarantee on time contractual reporting to the Concessionaire

- Liaise and coordinate with the other BOC Divisions


- Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders
