Quantity Surveyor – Midrand

Our client, a sub contractor based in Midrand, are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team.



R50,000p/m Dependant on experience






- 10 Years experience
- Qualified QS
- Technical

- JBCC Forms of contract experience 
- Plumbing experience would be advantageous
- Must be willing to travel to Zambia (2 to 3 days in 2 Months)

- You will have good general understanding of plumbing technology and construction processes, as well as having the ability to interpret information and instructions correctly and carry out those tasks.
- You should be capable of working in a team or an autonomous environment, as well as feeling confident in IT Especially: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

- The successful Quantity Surveyor should be well organised and be able to work in various situations under pressure.



- Prepare detailed tender recommendation report and order placement
- Assist with month cost, project reporting and associate documentation

- Cost/change control, reporting and monitoring
- Review and asses contractor competency
- General Contract Administration tasks including : valuations and payments; instructions; correspondence; final accounts
- Have good interpersonal skills as building and maintaining good professional relationships can only aid your role.
